RPG Maker Plugin Parameter Preflight

Find missing, stale and malformed RPG Maker MV/MZ plugin settings before playtest—locally, without changing the project.

Plugin updates can leave a project with missing keys, stale settings or nested JSON that no longer matches the plugin header. Those faults may not appear until a particular screen, event or save path runs.

Plugin Parameter Preflight compares js/plugins.js with the current annotation blocks in js/plugins/*.js and reports:

• enabled plugin entries whose JavaScript file is missing

• settings added by a plugin update but absent from the project configuration

• stale settings left behind after an update

• blank or malformed arrays and structs, including nested struct entries

• invalid booleans, numbers, min/max boundaries and declared select values

• missing or stale fields inside declared structs

Local and read-only

Open index.html in Chrome, Edge or Brave and choose the RPG Maker project root. Files are read inside the browser tab. The tool has no uploads, network calls, account, telemetry or write access.

MV projects with a www/ wrapper and standard MZ project layouts are supported.

Important limits

This is a deterministic static preflight, not a plugin compatibility guarantee. It does not execute the game or arbitrary plugin code. Custom runtime parsers and dynamically created settings can use rules that annotations do not describe. Keep backups and test representative saves after plugin changes.
